Jonathan Lee, cellist

Jonathan Lee, 16, is a sophomore at Chantilly High School, where he is a member of the Chamber Orchestra. He is also a member of the American Youth Symphonic Orchestra (AYSO). In 2023, Jonathan placed 2nd at the Northern Virginia Music Teachers Association (NVMTA) Achievement Awards Competition for Strings and was accepted into the 2023 Northern Virginia Senior Regional Orchestra. He has participated in master classes at the Tennessee Cello Workshop (University of Tennessee, Knoxville) with renowned cellists Susan Moses and Ilya Finkelshteyn. Jonathan has been a student of John Kaboff and a member of the Bow Lightlys cello ensemble since 2022.
