Violinist Vintine Anrich, age 17, lives in Mountain House, CA.  A longtime student of James Greening-Valenzuela, she has garnered a number of prizes in music competitions:  First Prize, Charleston International Music Competition; First Prize, North California Young Talents Competition; Second Prize, San Francisco International Innovative Music Competition; Second Prize, Pelican International Music Competition; Third Prize, DVC/HNU String Competition in California.  A member of the Oakland Symphony Youth Orchestra, this is her second appearance as a Carnegie Laureate Gala soloist.
